wrapped & Unwrapped gallery

In these I look to insights of how we see our world and ourselves in it. Some describe places we've only been to in our minds, solidifying how we imagine them to be. Paintings are a visual language, and like stories and myths are imagined to remind us of insights to be remembered.
In the cartography series, contours are symbolic of our sense of place. I find it interesting that such contours are similar to the convolutions found in brain scans. We are perhaps not so much different than the landscape that we inhabit.
